Obviously, I still need to find a few more calories in the day so I am only having a 1000 calorie per day deficit.  We'll get there.

  1. Hey Troy! I'm interested to see where you got the info on how many calories you should be eating- do you have a link to a calculator you'd be willing to share? Just wanted to give you a little support too- since we all know not all calories are created equal and it's a really hard adjustment to move from bad carbs to healthy carbs, I wanted to let you know that pinterest is a great resource for finding recipe dupes for the foods you love that aren't so great for you. Cauliflower pizza crusts and almond flour chicken nuggets are two of my favorites! Cauliflower broccoli mashed potatoes and baked sweet potatoes are good too! If you or Carrie have a Pinterest- I have a board filled with ideas. I just tried zucchini noodles as a replacement for spaghetti and i was really impressed. Dark Chocolate covered bananas and pumpkin cupcakes! Yummy! Let me know if you're iiterested- I love finding healthy recipes for comfort foods. I've found that cutting out gluten has really helped me lose weight and increase my energy level. And I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could still eat tasty things like enchiladas. I just had to approach them differently.
